Hi, my name is Jessica and I am the founder of That Little Extra. I am a born and bred New Yorker, growing up in Brooklyn with a similar story to everyone else’s. Just a typical millennial/elder emo, climbed up the corporate ladder, burnt out, and now is doing what I love. I fell in love with baking because I saw the joy that my cookies and cakes brought people. That experience of joy became contagious and I gave myself a goal to continue to offer people a sense of delight. Around this time I similarly became captivated with crocheting, and found a new avenue to spread joy with my creations. One day the burn out became too unbearable and I decided it was time: take the plunge, blend my love of bringing delight with my growing passions and create That Little Extra! A baking company that isn’t just about the cookies, but also about my journey and goal to spread joy. My flavors and products are all representations of me, a person dedicated to delivering perfectly balanced desserts while sharing a piece of myself.
